Dr James Whan Psychiatrist
I am Dr James Whan, a Telehealth Psychiatrist who specialises in two areas:
1. First responder on WorkCover including Police, Firefighters and Paramedics.
2. Adult ADHD
I have 16 years’ experience as a Psychiatrist after being trained at St Vincent’s Hospital. I’ve recently stopped working at Currumbin Clinic after enjoying four years there.
All appointments are done either over the phone or video (FaceTime, skype etc)
Diagnosis can often be made in one appointment with scripts and pathology sent via SMS.
You will require a GP referral. We aim to make contact with you within 48 hours of receiving the referral.
Fees will be taken over the phone in the days leading up to the appointment via credit card. Initial assessment fee is $640 and you will receive $246 back from Medicare within days of the appointment. Subsequent appointments are $200 with a $82 rebate.
WorkCover patients are funded by insurance but require preapproval.
